Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Boyko Kersikov (ranked 1717 p4p, 96 weight class) and Freddie Zamora (ranked 2750 p4p, 143 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zamora tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Kersikov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Zamora!
Zamora tries to bench press Kersikov off him but Kersikov keeps the position.
Kersikov is chipping away with strikes.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Zamora is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Kersikov tries to score with some ground and pound. Zamora controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Zamora tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kersikov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zamora gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Zamora moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kersikov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Kersikov is pushing down on Zamora's leg trying to pass to half guard. Zamora is fighting to maintain full guard but Kersikov has managed to sneak the leg through.
