The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hines slaps away a takedown attempt from Newhart, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hines half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Newhart throws a series of punches but Hines avoids them all with ease.
Hines tries to counter with a takedown but Newhart is quick to defend against it.
Hines moves out of range as Newhart throws a body kick.
Hines misses with a body shot.

Newhart lands a big head kick that sends Hines tumbling to the mat! Newhart takes a step backwards and waves Hines back to his feet - he wants the finish!
