The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yakolev looks to land a combination but Positive avoids it well.
Positive lands a jab-cross combination.
Positive takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Positive will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nice takedown defense from Yakolev. No joy for Positive on that attempt.
Yakolev looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

As Positive backs off Yakolev throws a huge counter combo but Positive manages to avoid it all.
Positive takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Positive tries to close the distance and clinch but Yakolev swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Positive closes the distance and clinches up with Yakolev, looking for a takedown. Positive pushes Yakolev against the ropes but Yakolev circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fighters circle momentarily. Yakolev darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
