The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John lands with a hook. Lach tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
John connects with an inside leg kick.
John throws the left hand but Lach avoids the punch easily.
Lach throws a front kick that sends John stumbling back into the cage.
That kick from John tenderised Lach's leg. Lach is trying to keep his angry face on.
Lach scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
A punch lands to the side of Lach 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lach connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed John momentarily.
A slapping body kick lands there for Lach.
John is breathing heavily.
A bone on bone clash there as Lach blocks the leg kick.
John misses with a hook
and Lach counters with a body kick that stops John in his tracks momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice uppercut there from Lach.
John misses with an uppercut. Lach saw that one coming.
Lach misses with a low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
John throws a right hand that misses
and Lach counters with a low kick, right behind John 's knee.
Lach has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Lach paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
John on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Lach lands with a kick to the ribs.

Lach cracks John with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lach has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning John to stand back up!

John is rocked!

It looks like Scott John has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lach throws a powerful right kick. John tried to block low but the kick was high! John was taken right off of his feet! Lach jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Gniewomir Lach!
Gniewomir Lach decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
