Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ananada Bunyasarn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlos Ruas!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunyasarn jabs Ruas to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ruas tries for a takedown but Bunyasarn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

It looks like Carlos Ruas has been cut.
Ruas gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Bunyasarn counters with a nice uppercut.
Ruas is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bunyasarn's half guard.
Bunyasarn won't allow Ruas to pass to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ruas looking to break Bunyasarn's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Bunyasarn remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ruas will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
You can see the frustration on Bunyasarn's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Well, with Ruas on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Bunyasarn is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
Ruas might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bunyasarn haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Ruas is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Bunyasarn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ruas sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ruas, as that shot connected.

Ruas shoots in for a takedown but Bunyasarn shows good takedown defense.

Bunyasarn feints and then cracks Ruas's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ruas down.

Ruas walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bunyasarn stuffs the takedown.
Bunyasarn throws out a loose jab but Ruas uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ruas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bunyasarn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ruas tries to advance to mount but can't.

Ruas moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Bunyasarn has worked his arm free - good work by Bunyasarn!
Ruas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bunyasarn keeps working.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ruas is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bunyasarn to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bunyasarn shrugs it off.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Ruas misses with a takedown attempt - Bunyasarn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
It looked like Bunyasarn wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Bunyasarn definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Ruas is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bunyasarn gets caught flat footed, as Ruas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bunyasarn has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ruas off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Ruas ducks under a wild hook from Bunyasarn.
Ruas closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bunyasarn to the mat! Bunyasarn manages to get full guard.
Ruas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bunyasarn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bunyasarn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ruas is one step ahead there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ruas is looking to pass into half guard but Bunyasarn pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Bunyasarn is in guard.
Ruas tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bunyasarn is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ruas can do to turn this around?

Bunyasarn decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ruas, up you get!
Bunyasarn stuffs the takedown attempt from Ruas. Ruas gets slowly back to his feet.
Ruas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Bunyasarn.
Ruas shoots and misses
and Bunyasarn connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ruas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bunyasarn tries to avoid it but Ruas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bunyasarn to the ground. Bunyasarn escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Horrible takedown attempt by Ruas or perhaps it was just good defense by Bunyasarn, which made it look bad.
Ananada Bunyasarn is winning the standup battle so far.

Bunyasarn lands a head shot.

Bunyasarn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The cut above Carlos Ruas's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Bunyasarn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bunyasarn fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bunyasarn scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ruas doesn't seem bothered though.
Bunyasarn connects with an inside leg kick.
Ruas closes the distance and clinches up with Bunyasarn, looking for a takedown. Ruas pushes Bunyasarn against the cage but Bunyasarn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bunyasarn darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ruas blocks a low kick nicely.
Bunyasarn throws a shot from downtown. Ruas moves away and avoids it.
Bunyasarn throws a hook to the side of Ruas's head but Ruas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ruas darts in looking for a takedown but Bunyasarn gets double underhooks and turns Ruas into the cage.
A quick step to the side and Bunyasarn tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bunyasarn looks to score with a jab to the body but Ruas is just out of range.
Bunyasarn with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
And that's the end of the fight!
Ananada Bunyasarn showed his dominance in that final round.

Ananada Bunyasarn gave a mention to Rogue Clothing in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
In defeat, Carlos Ruas stepped up to the mic, saying 'No one likes seeing their opponent's hand raised, but that just means that they were the better man today. My team at 3Band MMA and I will break down this match and make the proper changes for my next camp.'.
