Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jarred Reich (ranked 651 p4p, 92 weight class) and Peter Barnkvist (ranked 1048 p4p, 143 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnkvist tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Reich swivels and escapes.
The fighters circle momentarily. Reich darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Barnkvist throws a body punch but Reich moves out of range.

Reich throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Barnkvist stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Barnkvist is trying desperately to land a takedown but Reich is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Barnkvist.

Reich sends Barnkvist crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Reich is motioning to the referee to let Barnkvist up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Reich drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Barnkvist right on the button. Barnkvist goes down! Reich follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Reich gets the win via TKO!
