The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Layne avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zeezeeloo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Zeezeeloo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Layne lands a big head kick that sends Zeezeeloo tumbling to the mat! Layne takes a step backwards and waves Zeezeeloo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Zee Zeezeeloo has been cut.
Zee Zeezeeloo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zeezeeloo dives in and grabs Layne's left leg, looking for a takedown. Layne pushes down on Zeezeeloo's head and hops out.
Layne throws a quick head kick that knocks Zeezeeloo silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Layne is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

Jay Layne spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
