Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Mateusz Gorny (ranked 23570 p4p, 428 weight class) and Django Ripa (ranked 3013 p4p, 279 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ripa's choice of entrance music: American Woman. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gorny stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ripa lands with a good body shot.
Ripa swats away the attempt to clinch by Gorny.
Ripa throws out a counter right but Gorny avoids it with no problem.
Ripa comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A combination from Gorny does no damage.
Gorny takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Ripa rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gorny moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Gorny swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Ripa scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Gorny to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

Gorny tries to counter by clinching up but Ripa breaks away and moves out of range.

Gorny fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ripa manages to avoid it.

Ripa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Ripa connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Gorny out cold! This one is over in a flash!
