Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Dimitri Vasleyiev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Snow!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vasleyiev looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Snow dips to his left and cracks Vasleyiev with an uppercut!
Snow throws a jab but it's blocked by Vasleyiev.
Jon Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Snow lands with a good body shot.
A jab lands there for Snow.
Vasleyiev throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Snow appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Snow tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Vasleyiev uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Snow.
Snow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Snow loads up on a big right hand but Vasleyiev slips the punch.
Vasleyiev throws a big counter combination but Snow scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Snow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vasleyiev moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vasleyiev tries to move into range but Snow moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

A quick step to the side and Vasleyiev tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Snow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vasleyiev moves away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Snow looks to land a left hand but Vasleyiev moved out of range nicely.

Vasleyiev tries to clinch up but Snow circles away and keeps his distance.
Snow misses with a double jab.
Vasleyiev throws a big counter combination but Snow scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Vasleyiev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Snow connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vasleyiev scrambles back to his feet.
Snow throws a right hand that misses
and Vasleyiev connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Vasleyiev looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Snow misses with an uppercut. Vasleyiev saw that one coming.
Vasleyiev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Snow.
A little feinted left hand from Vasleyiev on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Vasleyiev misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Snow.
Snow changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Vasleyiev throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Snow misses.
Snow is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vasleyiev.
Snow doesn't manage to clinch there - Vasleyiev circles away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Vasleyiev went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Snow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vasleyiev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Snow has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A nice combination there by Snow.

Snow forces Vasleyiev back against the ropes and clinches.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Snow.

Vasleyiev lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Snow lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Vasleyiev backwards.

and Snow counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Snow tries to clinch but Vasleyiev moves out of range.
Vasleyiev jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Snow tries to land a front kick but Vasleyiev steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Vasleyiev avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
As Snow looks to move away, Vasleyiev throws a big counter combo but Snow just gets out of the way.
Snow jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Snow throws out a loose jab but Vasleyiev uses good head movement to avoid it.
Snow uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vasleyiev has time to react.
Snow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vasleyiev was well out of range. Poor timing from Snow.

Vasleyiev appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jon Snow is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Snow throws a combination. Vasleyiev tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Snow throws a right and a left that Vasleyiev avoids nicely.
Vasleyiev dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Snow. That did some damage!
Vasleyiev doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Snow. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Snow.
Snow takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Vasleyiev swats away the attempt to clinch by Snow.
Snow lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Jon Snow seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Snow drops his hands momentarily and Vasleyiev takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Vasleyiev looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Jon Snow comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Snow has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
