Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vincent McGuire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenny Tchusuk!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tchusuk avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
McGuire gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tchusuk.
McGuire lands a nice looking kick to the body. Tchusuk takes a step back to recover.
McGuire swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tchusuk follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
McGuire throws a series of punches but Tchusuk avoids them all with ease.
Tchusuk was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Tchusuk avoids the body shot from McGuire.
Vincent McGuire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tchusuk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McGuire.

Tchusuk lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and McGuire goes down! The ref sends Tchusuk to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and McGuire is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McGuire throws a body kick that misses
letting Tchusuk counter with a right hand.


McGuire is rocked!
McGuire swings for the body but Tchusuk moves out of range.
McGuire ducks under a wild hook from Tchusuk.
A nice leg kick lands there from McGuire.
McGuire connects with the punch.
McGuire walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tchusuk checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
McGuire misses with the body kick
and Tchusuk counters with an inside leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from McGuire, right into the meat.
McGuire throws a shot from downtown. Tchusuk moves away and avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGuire throws a leg kick that is checked

and Tchusuk counters with a straight right that drops McGuire on his ass! McGuire jumps back to his feet. He seems OK to continue so we'll get back to the action.
McGuire moves away from the strike by Tchusuk.
We've been told by McGuire's head coaches at Heavy Metal that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Tchusuk pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McGuire takes a swing at Tchusuk's ribcage but misses.
Nice cross by McGuire.
Tchusuk connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Tchusuk dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McGuire jabs at Tchusuk's body.
McGuire connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tchusuk's hands.

Tchusuk closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends McGuire crashing to the mat! McGuire uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!
Oh McGuire is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Tchusuk throws a lazy right hand but McGuire sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McGuire throws a jab but it's blocked by Tchusuk.
McGuire takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
McGuire seems to have got his legs back now.
McGuire scoring well with a low kick there.
McGuire fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tchusuk has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
McGuire moves away from the strike by Tchusuk.

Tchusuk moves into the clinch successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tchusuk keeps the fight in the clinch, despite McGuire's efforts to push away.
Tchusuk throws a punch but it's blocked by McGuire.
McGuire misses with a punch to the body.
Tchusuk tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

McGuire breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McGuire swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tchusuk on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
McGuire thuds his right hand into Tchusuk's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Tchusuk turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Tchusuk walks forward, straight into a front kick from McGuire.
Tchusuk steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McGuire.
McGuire misses with an uppercut
and Tchusuk counters with a big head kick out of nowhere, perfectly timed, sending McGuire crashing to the mat! McGuire is trying to stumble back to his feet... will he beat the count? We're at 5,6,7,8,9,10! He's out! Tchusuk takes this one thanks to a picture pefect counter strike.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Kenny Tchusuk!
