The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Nakamura shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Clint has hold of Nakamura's hands but Nakamura slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Clint manages to get to full guard.
Nakamura is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Nakamura postures up in Clint's guard and throws a big left but Clint blocks it.

Clint on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Clint tries to get out of the position.
Nakamura cracks Clint with a solid left hand.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nakamura throws a strike but Clint rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Nakamura seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Nakamura is pulling down on Clint's head to control his posture.

Nakamura manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Clint manages to get himself to full guard.

Clint has momentary wrist control but Nakamura slips an elbow through the middle.

Nakamura loads up on a big left hand. Clint felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Nakamura looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Clint can't hide his disappointment, as Nakamura celebrates the victory.
