Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lara tries to clinch but Rex moves out of range.
Rex loads up on a big right hand but Lara slips the punch.
Rex throws a jab when Lara was well out of range.
Rex throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lara is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Rex avoids the body shot from Lara.
Lara throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rex misses with a wild body shot.
Lara tries to counter with a takedown but Rex is quick to defend against it.
Rex looks to land a right hand but Lara moved out of range.
The fighters circling - Rex throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lara really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rex cracks a nice hook into Lara's ribs.
Lara throws a head kick that misses.
Rex jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rex throws the left hand but Lara avoids the punch easily.
Lara went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Lara will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rex drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lara defends it well.
Nice defenses there by Lara.
Lara throws a big counter combination but Rex scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Rex shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rex showed some decent athleticism there.
Lara is looking to control Rex's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lara avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rex lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lara wants to control but Rex is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rex scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Lara is trying to control but can't.
Rex slips a nice elbow through Lara's hands, connecting with Lara's forehead.
Lara is rocked!
Rex landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Oh Lara is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rex lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Lara! More strikes land and this one is all over! Rex jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
