The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chin connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Chin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Chin staying out of range there.
Chin now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Shepherd tries a head kick but it misses.
Nice jab there from Chin.
It looks like Freddie Shepherd has been cut.
Chin digs a good body shot into Shepherd's ribs.
Shepherd doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Chin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Shepherd shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chin as he avoids it easily.
Chin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Nice straight punches there by Chin. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Chin.
Shepherd manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Chin on his heels. He'll look to pass Chin's guard now, I'm sure.
Chin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Shepherd might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Grey Chin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chin connects with a body shot that sends Shepherd's belly button to the back.
Chin jabs Shepherd to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Chin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shepherd stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Chin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Shepherd enables Chin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shepherd manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Grey Chin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Shepherd gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Chin gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
