Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Markus Petersen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jake Dope!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petersen moves out of range as Dope throws a body kick.
Petersen avoids the head kick by Dope.
Petersen half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Dope gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Petersen is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Dope is keeping busy.

Dope fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Petersen, pushing him back against the cage.

It looks like Markus Petersen has been cut.
Petersen goes for a takedown attempt but Dope pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Dope has closed the distance and engaged Petersen in a clinch.

Dope's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Dope will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Petersen up against the cage.

Petersen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dope is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Petersen jumps guard and drags Dope to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Petersen has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Dope should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Petersen has tightened it up now! Dope should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
