Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hairuddin Abdul Rahim (ranked 3204 p4p, 345 weight class) and Islam Mamadaliev (ranked 3621 p4p, 385 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Islam Mamadaliev enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abdul Rahim keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mamadaliev changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Abdul Rahim tries to avoid it but Mamadaliev manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Abdul Rahim to the ground. Abdul Rahim escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mamadaliev fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Abdul Rahim tries to counter with a takedown but Mamadaliev is quick to defend against it.
Hairuddin Abdul Rahim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Islam Mamadaliev.

Abdul Rahim shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mamadaliev manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mamadaliev can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mamadaliev has his foot on Abdul Rahim's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Abdul Rahim works his way back into a safe position though.

Abdul Rahim gets to his feet and stands over Mamadaliev, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Mamadaliev felt that one! Abdul Rahim unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Mamadaliev from any more punishment!
