Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gundro Vilheimshaugen (ranked 2403 p4p, 264 weight class) and Reynaldo Zamarripa (ranked 2748 p4p, 305 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reynaldo Zamarripa!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vilheimshaugen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Zamarripa manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Vilheimshaugen has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Zamarripa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vilheimshaugen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Zamarripa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vilheimshaugen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vilheimshaugen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Vilheimshaugen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zamarripa on the ground.

Vilheimshaugen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Zamarripa's head.
Vilheimshaugen arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Zamarripa's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Gundro Vilheimshaugen!
