Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Theodore Jasper (ranked 2706 p4p, 254 weight class) and Beck Lee (ranked 2696 p4p, 251 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Theodore Jasper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Beck Lee!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Darius Henderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee misses with a straight left.
Lee moves to clinch but Jasper breaks away
and Jasper cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Lee pushes Jasper up against the cage in a clinch.
Lee tries to score a body lock takedown but Jasper shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Jasper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lee tries to clinch up.
Jasper throwing a counter right hand but Lee manages to avoid it.
Jasper throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jasper looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A lazy left from Jasper finds it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jasper circles away from the clinch attempt.

Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Jasper counters with a stiff right hand.
Lee throws a sloppy body shot
and Jasper counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lee clobbers Jasper with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Theodore Jasper has been cut.
Lee misses with a wild body shot.
Jasper swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Lee looks to clinch
and Jasper counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Beck Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jasper misses with a hook. Lee ducked under it nicely.

Lee moves into range and clinches up with Jasper.

Jasper manages to break the clinch.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Jasper pushes him off.
Jasper is looking for a counter combo.
Lee's coach down at Fisticuffs was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lee's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

As Lee looks to move away, Jasper throws a big counter combo but Lee just gets out of the way.

Lee tries to land a leg kick but Jasper saw it coming and moves away.
Lee is looking to clinch but Jasper is avoiding it.

Jasper throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lee.

and Jasper counters with a stiff right hand.

Jasper swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee.
It looked like Jasper was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Lee tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Jasper counters with a three punch combo that has Lee backing up. Lee nods at Jasper to acknowledge the strikes.

Lee is rocked!
Lee throws a big shot that misses.
Lee is still on wobbly legs! Can Jasper finish him?
A left lands for Lee.
Lee tries to clinch but Jasper moves away
and Jasper counters with a three punch combo that has Lee backing up. Lee nods at Jasper to acknowledge the strikes.
Jasper checks a low kick from Lee.
Lee throws the kick towards the body but Jasper avoids it.
Lee listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Lee seems to have recovered his senses.
Jasper's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lee under the eye.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lee ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lee takes a swing at Jasper's ribcage but misses.

Lee misses with a body punch
and Jasper counters with a huge left! Lee is in big trouble! He's backing up but Jasper isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Lee from any more damage. A dominating finish by Jasper!
