The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watson has a takedown stuffed.
Watson takes a kick to the side of the head.

Bond has closed the distance and engaged Watson in a clinch.

Bond has clasped his hands together around Watson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Bond cracks Watson with a big right hand but Watson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Bond decides to stand up, so the ref orders Watson to his feet.
Bond throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Watson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Bond is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bond pushes Watson off but Watson dives into side control.
Oh Bond is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Watson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bond is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Watson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bond, who protects the arm well.
Watson scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Bond is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Watson can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
