Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 39 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Henry Bonney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 34 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jean Labosky!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labosky fails in his attempt to clinch.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Labosky checks a leg kick.
Labosky fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A big right from Bonney misses.
Bonney misses with a looping left.
Labosky lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Labosky throws a body kick that misses.
Bonney feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Bonney blocks a low kick nicely.
Bonney throws a big counter combination but Labosky scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Bonney throws a leg kick which misses Labosky's front leg but catches the back leg as Labosky tries to avoid it.
Sloppy strikes from Bonney. Those never looked like landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bonney throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Bonney swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Labosky ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Labosky steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Bonney.
Bonney swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bonney definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bonney looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Bonney gets a clinch.
Labosky blocks a body shot from Bonney.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Bonney creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bonney with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Labosky manages to break the clinch.
Bonney misses with a body punch
and Labosky counters with a head kick.
Bonney lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Labosky lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bonney digs a good body shot into Labosky's ribs.
Good standup being displayed there by Bonney as he connects with a hook.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A head kick misses from Labosky.
Labosky lands with a kick to the temple. Bonney shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Labosky pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Bonney.
Bonney lands with a thumping leg kick.
Labosky scores with a head kick.
Bonney throws a series of punches but Labosky avoids them all with ease.
Bonney shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Labosky eats them both and turns towards Bonney to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


Labosky is rocked!

Labosky gets tackled into the ropes by Bonney. Bonney maintains the clinch.
Labosky is still on wobbly legs! Can Bonney finish him?
The referee is keeping an eye on Bonney - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Bonney pushes Labosky back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Bonney creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Labosky has had enough of the clinch but Bonney keeps him there for the moment.
Labosky wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bonney has him pressed against the ropes.
Bonney creates a bit of space and fires a knee right up the middle, almost lifting Labosky off his feet and sending him crashing to the canvas! Labosky is trying to get back to his feet but his equilibrium is completely gone! The referee has called it off! This fight is over! Bonney is jumping up and down like a mad man, celebrating with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). William Henry Bonney!
After winning the bout, William Henry Bonney thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
