Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Mr Steel Penn (ranked 2646 p4p, 306 weight class) and Mozes Amaury (ranked 2149 p4p, 263 weight class). Amaury has chosen Vultures Fly as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 5 losses; Mr Steel Penn! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 3 losses; Mozes Amaury!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Steel Penn fails to land the takedown.
Amaury wants to counter the offense by Steel Penn and move into the clinch position.
Amaury forces Steel Penn back against the cage and clinches.
Steel Penn changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Amaury fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Steel Penn tries to clinch there but Amaury circles away.
Amaury closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Amaury tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Amaury is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Steel Penn to keep the fight standing.
Amaury jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Steel Penn walks away with a smile on his face. Amaury gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mr Steel Penn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mozes Amaury.
Steel Penn takes the fight into the clinch.
Steel Penn wants to take the fight to the mat but Amaury manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Steel Penn wants the takedown. Amaury is fighting it off but Steel Penn persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Amaury's guard against the cage. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Steel Penn (2) vs (0) Amaury
Amaury has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Steel Penn should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Amaury has tightened it up now! Steel Penn should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Mozes Amaury decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |
