Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henry Mckinney (ranked 24270 p4p, 0 weight class) and Callan Walsh (ranked 4813 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Mckinney!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Callan Walsh!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walsh scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Mckinney is trying to get back to full guard.
Mckinney is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Walsh jumps into side control!
Walsh misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Walsh tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Walsh remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Mckinney appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Mckinney tries to keep at a distance but Walsh has taken the fight into the clinch.
Walsh goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Mckinney successfully pulls guard.
Mckinney is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mckinney has momentary wrist control but Walsh slips an elbow through the middle.

Walsh gets to his feet - Mckinney follows without any prompting.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mckinney fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Walsh closes the distance and clinches.

Walsh tightens his grip and picks Mckinney up, before dumping him to the ground. Mckinney manages to land in guard.
Mckinney can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Walsh controls the pace.
Mckinney wants to control but Walsh passes easily into half guard.
Walsh throwing shots but Mckinney is blocking nicely.

Mckinney regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Walsh.
Walsh stands and throws Mckinney's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Walsh tries to advance to mount but Mckinney denies him.

Mckinney parries the strikes from Walsh easily there. Walsh is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Mckinney to escape.
Walsh wants to control but Mckinney is keeping him busy.
Mckinney wants to get back to his feet.

Walsh decides to take the fight back to the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mckinney enables Walsh to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mckinney manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Mckinney has his feet on Walsh's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Walsh fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mckinney sprawls well initially but Walsh persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walsh is looking for a kimura but Mckinney is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Walsh to get the leverage.

Mckinney tries to kick Walsh off but Walsh keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Mckinney wants to stand back up but Walsh manages to pass into side control.
Mckinney knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Walsh on the ground.

Let's hope that Walsh has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Mckinney sneaks back into half guard.
Walsh wants to pass to mount but Mckinney is defending the position.

Walsh seems to be looking for submissions.

Walsh seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mckinney does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Walsh has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Walsh shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mckinney's guard.

Walsh gets to his feet. Mckinney looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Mckinney avoids the head kick by Walsh.
Mckinney changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walsh tries to avoid it but Mckinney manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walsh to the ground. Walsh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Henry Mckinney is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Walsh has Mckinney up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Walsh gets control of Mckinney's arms and successfully pulls guard. Walsh will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Well Walsh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
