The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plunkett tries a head kick but it misses.
Ovchinnikov shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Plunkett eats them both and turns towards Ovchinnikov to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Plunkett tries to clinch up.
It seemed like Ovchinnikov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Ovchinnikov misses with an uppercut. Plunkett saw that one coming.

Ovchinnikov lands a big right hand that sends Plunkett crashing to the mat! Ovchinnikov stays standing though and waves Plunkett back to his feet!

Plunkett is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ovchinnikov sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Plunkett's defenses. It connects perfectly with Plunkett's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
