The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey cracks Silva with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Silva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bailey has time to react.
Silva throws the left hand but Bailey avoids the punch easily.

and Silva counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Silva.

Bailey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silva scores with a sloppy right hand. Bailey should have avoided that one.
Silva connects with a crisp jab.
Bailey takes one to the side of the head.
Silva has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bailey takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Bailey gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Silva gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
