Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Max Hubbard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Tylor!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tylor uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hubbard.
Tylor shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hubbard defends it nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tylor tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hubbard presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Tylor wants to hold on but Hubbard pushes him away.
Tylor is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Hubbard is staying active.

Hubbard is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Tylor has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Tylor!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Tylor throws a strike but Hubbard rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's time! Hubbard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Tylor moves into range and clinches up with Hubbard.
Hubbard is pressed up against the cage. Tylor has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hubbard down to the mat. Hubbard avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tylor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hubbard avoids it really well and circles away.

Max Hubbard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Tylor.

Tylor jumps guard but Hubbard stands there with Tylor around his waist. Tylor gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

David Tylor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Hubbard is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tylor is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hubbard is on top in guard.

Tylor is looking to stand back up but Hubbard counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Tylor.
Tylor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Tylor is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hubbard pulls his head out easily.
Hubbard working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Hubbard scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Tylor is trying to control but Hubbard manages to pass to mount!
Hubbard lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Max Hubbard overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Hubbard goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tylor is on top in guard.

Hubbard escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tylor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hubbard is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Tylor is aware though and is defending well.
Tylor wants to control from the top but Hubbard keeps moving.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hubbard is controlling Tylor's posture.
Hubbard is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!


Tylor misses with a takedown attempt - Hubbard sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
It looked like Hubbard was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Tylor.

Hubbard shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hubbard showed some decent athleticism there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hubbard is landing with some decent strikes but Tylor is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Hubbard is looking to work his way around to Tylor's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Hubbard could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Tylor takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hubbard, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
