Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kemen Etxeberria (ranked 1589 p4p, 185 weight class) and Carlos Beltran (ranked 1641 p4p, 189 weight class). Etxeberria's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Basque National Anthem. Kemen Etxeberria has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Etxeberria takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Etxeberria looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Beltran misses with an attempted mid kick.
Etxeberria misses with a wild body shot.
Etxeberria throws a body shot but no joy.
A looping hook to the body misses from Etxeberria. Beltran does a little dance to reset his feet.
Beltran now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Etxeberria scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Beltran shoots in looking for a takedown but Etxeberria manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Beltran's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Beltran throws a hook to the side of Etxeberria's head but Etxeberria sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Beltran tries to score a power double leg takedown but Etxeberria sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Beltran somewhat.

Beltran manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Etxeberria on his heels. He'll look to pass Etxeberria's guard now, I'm sure.

Etxeberria has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Beltran is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Etxeberria throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Beltran stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Carlos Beltran is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Beltran closes this distance looking for a takedown but Etxeberria circles away.
Beltran misses with a jab, cross combination.
Etxeberria takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
BOOM! Etxeberria lands a beautiful left hook that drops Beltran. Beltran tries to recover but Etxeberria is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Beltran lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

A relieved looking Kemen Etxeberria thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
