The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parret throws a jab when Richards was well out of range.
Richards takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Richards steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Parret.
Richards looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Parret lands with a hook. Richards tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Richards bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A counter left hand to the body from Richards misses its target.
Parret throws a hook but Richards avoids it easily.
Richards slips under a jab from Parret.
Richards swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Parret slips a jab from Richards.
Parret lands with a right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Parret feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Richards sprawling to the canvas! Richards rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Parret finish him?!

Richards is rocked!

It looks like Mick Richards has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Parret misses with a hook. Richards ducked under it nicely.
Oh Richards is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Parret throws a hook but Richards avoids it easily.
Parret wobbles Richards with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Parret dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Richards to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
