Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Doran (ranked 6121 p4p, 399 weight class) and Jack Jones (ranked 3768 p4p, 317 weight class). Doran's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rappin' For Jesus. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Doran to the mat! Doran manages to get full guard.

Doran is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well.

It looks like Peter Doran has been cut.
Doran misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jones. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Doran shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jones as he jumps to the side.

Doran working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Doran wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Jones is now in half guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Doran sprawls well. Doran wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.

Doran stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
