Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petri showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mann.
Petri shoots and misses
and Mann counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Petri does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Mann looks to land a combination. Petri sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Mann connects with a good right hand that stumbles Petri. Petri circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Petri.
Carter Mann seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Petri throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mann was covering up waiting for the punch and Petri finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Mann has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Petri has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

No joy there for Mann, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Petri tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mann defends well and Petri ends up having to push Mann into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Mann has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Petri is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Mann throws a series of punches but Petri avoids them all with ease.
Petri fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mann is out of range.

Mann throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Petri tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mann swivels and escapes.

Mann lands a nice shot that snaps Petri's head back.
Mann avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mann stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mann tries to bum rush Petri with a series of wild strikes but Petri uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mann has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Horrible takedown attempt by Petri or perhaps it was just good defense by Mann, which made it look bad.

Despite the aggression on Mann's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Mann drops Petri with a right and a left! Mann comes rushing in but Petri regains his composure and manages to keep Mann in guard.

It looks like Cahir Petri has been cut.
Mann loads up on a big left hand. Petri felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mann looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Petri can't hide his disappointment, as Mann celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carter Mann!
Carter Mann decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
