And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drengot shoots in but no luck this time.
Drengot pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hamman closes the distance and clinches.
Hamman is working Drengot over against the cage.
Hamman working Drengot over with knees to the body.
Hamman looking to throw knees to the head but Drengot is blocking nicely.
Drengot has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hamman avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Hamman crunches a lovely knee into Drengot's ribcage.
Drengot is breathing heavily.
Hamman scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Hamman lands a knee to the head.
Hamman misses with a knee to the head.
Hamman creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Hamman unloads a knee to the mid-section. Drengot lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Hamman breaks the clinch.
Hamman lands with a straight right. Drengot didn't see that one coming.
Hamman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Drengot.

Hamman scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Drengot is rocked!
Hamman lands with a shot to the body.
Oh Drengot is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hamman lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Drengot head around and knocks him out cold! Hamman hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Didi Hamman!
After the fight, Didi Hamman was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
In defeat, Ranulf Drengot stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm so disappointed, but I will be back stronger!'.
