With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jager Gutsovis!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zen misses with a head kick.
Gutsovis flicks out a counter leg kick but Zen steps away.
Some bone on bone action there as Gutsovis checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A nice leg kick lands there from Zen.
Gutsovis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Zen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Zen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Gutsovis stays in close to Zen's body and controls the position.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Gutsovis working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Zen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gutsovis scores with a couple of nice shots.

Oh but Gutsovis is tightening it up a little... Zen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Zen reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Zen taps out! Nice BJJ there by Gutsovis!
