Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Archibald Knox (ranked 224 p4p, 34 weight class) and Luc Gagnon (ranked 90 p4p, 14 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gagnon changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gagnon misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Knox.
Knox misses with a straight left.
Gagnon on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Luc Gagnon has been cut.
Gagnon throws a low kick, looking for Knox's leg but Knox calmly moves out of range.
Knox throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Knox throws a hook to the side of Gagnon's head but Gagnon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Gagnon clobbers Knox with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The fighters circle momentarily. Gagnon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Knox tries to clinch but Gagnon moves out of range.
Gagnon now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Gagnon cracks Knox with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Luc Gagnon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Knox rushes Gagnon and presses him up against the cage.
Knox throws a punch but it's blocked by Gagnon.

Gagnon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Knox gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Knox is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Gagnon has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Knox should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gagnon has tightened it up now! Knox should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
