Savage misses with a hook. Monteiro ducked under it nicely.
Monteiro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Savage.
Monteiro throwing a counter right hand but Savage manages to avoid it.
Monteiro uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Savage.
Monteiro is looking to counter punch.
Savage looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
It looked like Monteiro wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Savage shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Monteiro pinned against the cage. Monteiro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Savage keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Tony Monteiro has been cut.

Monteiro moves out of range as Savage strikes.
Savage lands a jab to the head.
Savage ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Monteiro moves away.
Savage lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Savage throws a body punch but Monteiro moves out of range.
Savage cracks Monteiro on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Monteiro falls backwards against the cage. Savage follows up with more strikes that drop Monteiro to his knees. Savage keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Monteiro! This one is all over!
