The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hambone moves into the clinch successfully.

Hambone lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Christensen is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hambone is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Christensen tries to kick Hambone off but Hambone keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Hambone not doing much here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Christensen is looking for a sweep. Hambone is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Christensen makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Christensen.

Hambone is standing up over Christensen. Christensen looks to escape but Hambone dives into side control.
Christensen manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Hambone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Christensen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Christensen manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hambone is trying to control the position but Christensen postures up.
Hambone trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Hambone has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Christensen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Hambone wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hambone has his foot on Christensen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Christensen works his way back into a safe position though.

Christensen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hambone pinned against the cage. Hambone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Christensen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
