Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between James Osterberg (ranked 3500 p4p, 181 weight class) and Jose Pacheco (ranked 3117 p4p, 160 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Osterberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Jose Pacheco!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacheco shoots in looking for a takedown. Osterberg tries to sprawl out of it but Pacheco keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Osterberg manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pacheco is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Pacheco tries to score a power double leg takedown but Osterberg sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pacheco somewhat.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Osterberg cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Osterberg is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Pacheco has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Pacheco!
