The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Steve Erwin and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes gets tackled into the cage by Cutlas. Cutlas maintains the clinch.
Cutlas drags the fight down to the ground.
Holmes prevents Cutlas from getting back to his feet.

Cutlas is looking to sweep but instead, Holmes has passed into half guard.

Cutlas moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Holmes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cutlas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Holmes has managed to get both his arms back between Cutlas's legs - danger averted.

Holmes does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Cutlas connects with a body shot that sends Holmes's belly button to the back.
Cutlas rushes Holmes and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Holmes misses with a knee to the head.
Cutlas breaks from the clinch.
Sherlock Holmes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cutlas darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Cutlas stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Cutlas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cutlas lands a head kick. Holmes smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Sherlock Holmes has been cut.
Cutlas closes the distance and clinches.

Holmes is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Cutlas is keeping busy.

Holmes on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cutlas. Cutlas obviously looking to wear him down.
Holmes clinches up with Cutlas and pushes him back against the cage.
Holmes using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cutlas has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Cutlas changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Holmes fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Cutlas is looking to take a break and control but Holmes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Holmes is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cutlas's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cutlas's back!
