Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Stout (ranked 7075 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruben Mandore (ranked 19958 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandore tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stout keeps the fight on the outside.
Stout throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stout ducks right into an uppercut from Mandore.

It looks like Stephen Stout has been cut.
No luck for Mandore with that takedown attempt.
Stout shoots in looking for a takedown. Mandore tries to sprawl out of it but Stout keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mandore manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head kick misses from Mandore.
Mandore tries for a takedown but Stout sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nice sprawl there from Mandore as Stout shoots in.
Mandore fails in his attempt to clinch.

Mandore tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stout swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stout lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Mandore or perhaps it was just good defense by Stout, which made it look bad.
Stout tried to counter with a leg kick but Mandore avoided it.
Stephen Stout has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ruben Mandore.

Mandore tries a head kick but it misses.

Stout clinches.

Stout decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stout has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stout is on top in guard.

Stout lands a couple of elbows.

Stout cracks Mandore with a solid left hand.
Stout has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Stout postures up in Mandore's guard and throws a big left but Mandore blocks it.

Mandore has momentary wrist control but Stout slips an elbow through the middle.

Stout makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Stout throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mandore works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Mandore is rocked!
Mandore should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Stout gets to his feet and stands over Mandore, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Mandore felt that one! Stout unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Mandore from any more punishment!
