The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miles Iii gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Doss throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Miles Iii blocks it with crossed arms.
Doss lands a left hand that snaps the head of Miles Iii backwards.
Doss throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Miles Iiis head.
Doss makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Doss lands with a short shot to the head.
Doss using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Miles Iii has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Doss tries to throw a body punch but Miles Iii avoids it by throwing Doss back against the ropes.
Miles Iii's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Doss lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Miles Iii tries to break the clinch but Doss is controlling the position.

Doss has Miles Iii pressed against the ropes, preventing Miles Iii from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Doss lands with a left to the head.
Doss is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Miles Iii is defending well for now.
Doss lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Miles Iii is trying to push Doss away but Doss has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

Doss gets through Miles Iii's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Miles Iii's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Oh Miles Iii is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Miles Iii is trying to force a seperation but Doss has the dominant position.
Miles Iii seems to have got his legs back now.

Doss creates a bit of space and cracks Miles Iii with an uppercut that drops him to the canvas! Miles Iii is wobbled and seems to be struggling to get back to his feet. 3,4,5. He's up! Phew, his manager will be relieved but they're no doubt wondering whether he'll be able to recover properly and get back in the fight!
Doss connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Miles Iii out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Dick Doss was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
