Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quincy Ball (ranked 24688 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Alexandrea (ranked 4800 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Ball cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Alexandrea creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Alexandrea has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ball regains guard immediately.

Ball has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Alexandrea off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Alexandrea has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ball after a bit of a struggle.
Ball is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
