Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Topher Curtis (ranked 1467 p4p, 183 weight class) and Kill Monger (ranked 1524 p4p, 194 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Topher Curtis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kill Monger!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monger tries to clinch
and Monger takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Kill Monger has been cut.
Monger fails with a takedown attempt.
Monger tries a head kick but it misses.

Monger closes the distance and pushes Curtis back into the cage.
Monger tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Monger throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Curtis blocks it with crossed arms.
Monger tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Curtis avoids it.
Monger tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Curtis lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Monger prevents Curtis from breaking the clinch.

Monger tries to score a body lock takedown but Curtis shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Curtis definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Curtis works on Monger's body with a couple of short punches.
Monger using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Curtis has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Monger is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Curtis is defending well for now.

Curtis lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Monger.
Monger looks winded!

Curtis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Monger on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Monger tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Curtis paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Monger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
It looked like Curtis was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Monger fails with the takedown
and Curtis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Topher Curtis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kill Monger.
Monger circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Curtis. Monger falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Curtis!
