Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Soren Bak (ranked 2649 p4p, 250 weight class) and Paavo Masala (ranked 2727 p4p, 258 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Masala looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bak!
Masala postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Masala creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Masala cracks Bak with a big right hand but Bak just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bak's coaches at JAG Battle Gym have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Masala working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Masala in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Bak looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Masala turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
