Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Max Halloween (ranked 1665 p4p, 180 weight class) and Snake Under A T Rex Bottom (ranked 2868 p4p, 263 weight class). A T Rex Bottom has chosen A Tribe Called Kotori as his entrance music. Snake Under A T Rex Bottom has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Halloween rushes A T Rex Bottom and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A T Rex Bottom lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Halloween tries to work over A T Rex Bottom's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
A T Rex Bottom has a couple of punches blocked by Halloween.
Halloween swings wildly with an uppercut but A T Rex Bottom uses good head movement to avoid it.
Halloween softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Halloween tries to throw a body punch but A T Rex Bottom avoids it by throwing Halloween back against the cage.
A T Rex Bottom is pushing Halloween up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Halloween throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

A T Rex Bottom is trying to trip Halloween. He has hold of a leg but Halloween is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. A T Rex Bottom persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Halloween bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in A T Rex Bottom's guard.

Halloween is really struggling to control A T Rex Bottom but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Halloween has gone for a leg lock! A T Rex Bottom slips out almost immediately though and dives into Halloween's guard.

Halloween manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. A T Rex Bottom manages to get himself to full guard.

A T Rex Bottom wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Halloween is now in half guard.

Halloween looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Halloween wants to lay and pray for a moment but A T Rex Bottom keeps working.
A T Rex Bottom wants to get back to full guard.

Halloween is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so A T Rex Bottom is just riding it out for now. Halloween eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Halloween is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
We've been hearing good reports from Halloween's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Halloween has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can A T Rex Bottom defend it? Halloween steps over the head and cranks it - A T Rex Bottom is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Halloween!
