The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paperstacks lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Uniesky Santaban has been cut.

Santaban has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Paperstacks is on him like a limpet, forcing Santaban back against the cage.

Paperstacks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Santaban's waist but Santaban gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Paperstacks off to one side.

Santaban is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Paperstacks had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Santaban darts in and clinches Paperstacks up against the cage.
Paperstacks goes for a takedown attempt but Santaban pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Paperstacks pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Santaban let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Paperstacks throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Santaban was covering up waiting for the punch and Paperstacks finishes the takedown easily into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Santaban bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Paperstacks's guard.

He turns his back on Santaban, trying to create some distance but Santaban rushes him, striking wildly and Paperstacks goes down! The referee tackles Santaban into the cage to end the fight! Santaban is one violent man!
