Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lino Dodson (ranked 24692 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Sins (ranked 3965 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lino Dodson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonny Sins!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dodson misses with a takedown attempt - Sins sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Sins unleashes a big counter combination but Dodson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Dodson clinches with his opponent.
Sins managing to block the knees to the body from Dodson.
Sins will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dodson up against the cage.
Dodson throws a head punch that misses.
Dodson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Sins is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dodson can't fight it off and eventually Sins manages to take the fight to the floor. Dodson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dodson is trying to control the position but Sins postures up.
Sins slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Sins is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dodson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Sins working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Sins wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dodson, who protects the arm well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sins is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dodson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Dodson is looking to reverse the position.
Sins controlling the position from side mount.
Sins landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

Sins stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Jonny Sins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dodson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Dodson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sins's guard.
Sins pulls Dodson in close to his closed guard and prevents Dodson from doing any damage or advancing position.
Dodson trying to control but Sins is working from the bottom.
Dodson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dodson wants to stand and escape but instead Sins has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.


Dodson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sins content to stall in guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sins lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Sins showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Dodson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jonny Sins dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Dodson gets caught napping as Sins dives in and scores a takedown. Dodson manages to retain guard.

Dodson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sins stacks Dodson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sins!
Dodson is looking for a sweep.
Sins lands a decent elbow from side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Sins stands up and beckons Dodson to his feet.
Dodson has a takedown stuffed.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Dodson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sins tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dodson smiles and moves away.
Dodson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Sins closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sins moves nicely into side control.
Dodson is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Sins is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Dodson tries to reverse the position but Sins maintains control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Sins working for a submission but Dodson is keeping him at bay.
Sins controlling from mount.
Sins lands a heavy elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sins postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dodson looks a forlorn figure.


Dodson is rocked!


It looks like Lino Dodson has been cut.
Sins lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dodson hang on?
Oh Dodson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dodson takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Sins's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonny Sins!
