Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chong Benton (ranked 4804 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Einstein (ranked 4679 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Einstein digs a good body shot into Benton's ribs.
Einstein moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The strikes coming from Benton are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Einstein is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Benton decides to stand back up. Benton steps back and let's Einstein get back to his feet.

Einstein gets tackled into the cage by Benton. Benton maintains the clinch.

Benton gets control of Einstein's arms and successfully pulls guard. Benton will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Benton is looking to stand up but Einstein isn't so interested in that idea.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Benton is on top in guard.

As Einstein looks to move away, Benton throws a big counter combo but Einstein just gets out of the way.

Benton tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Einstein turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Benton on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Einstein throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Einstein walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Benton checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Benton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Benton stands up over Einstein, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Einstein has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Benton off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Chong Benton will probably get the nod.

A quick step to the side and Benton tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Einstein thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Benton if he has to take too many more of those.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Benton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Einstein on the ground.

Benton has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Einstein is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Benton.

Einstein has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Benton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Einstein's guard.

Einstein sneaks out the side door and pushes Benton away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Einstein. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
