Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ambrose Foreman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Big Puncher!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foreman chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Puncher can pounce on him.
Foreman fails with a takedown attempt.

Puncher shoots in and bounces Foreman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Foreman is looking to stand back up but Puncher counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Foreman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Puncher with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Foreman keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Puncher is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Foreman actively working from the bottom here.
Puncher keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Foreman wants to control but Puncher is keeping busy.
Puncher looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Foreman wants to improve his position but Puncher is controlling well.

Foreman looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Puncher is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Foreman wants to improve his position but Puncher is controlling well.
Puncher stalling.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Puncher is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Foreman has hold of Puncher's hands but Puncher slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.


It looks like Ambrose Foreman has been cut.

Puncher decides to stand up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Foreman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Puncher sprawls well. Puncher wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Foreman gets slowly back to his feet.
Foreman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Puncher scores with a takedown into Foreman's guard.
Puncher sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Foreman's guard.
Puncher is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Puncher is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Foreman is breathing heavily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Puncher controlling the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Big Puncher dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ambrose Foreman's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Foreman throws a predictable looking body shot
and Puncher makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Foreman moves into the clinch.
Foreman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Puncher just stands there and leans against the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Foreman goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Puncher's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Foreman gets tackled into the cage by Puncher. Puncher maintains the clinch.

Puncher has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Foreman regains guard immediately.
Foreman is looking to stand back up but Puncher counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Foreman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Puncher has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Puncher performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Foreman trying to hold on to Puncher's head to control him but Puncher postures up.
Puncher is taking a breather. Foreman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Puncher passes to side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Puncher is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Foreman knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Foreman is working to avoid the ground and pound but Puncher connects with a decent elbow.


Ambrose Foreman's cut is getting worse.
Puncher wants to control but Foreman is keeping him busy.
Foreman gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Puncher passes to full mount!

Puncher looking to control and managing it successfully.
Puncher landing strikes from the mount and Foreman is in trouble!

Foreman wants to hold on but Puncher pushes him away.
Puncher lands a big elbow - Foreman is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Foreman is forced to tap out!
