Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Seth Keller (ranked 4817 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kakashi Hataki (ranked 6348 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Seth Keller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kakashi Hataki!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hataki decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hataki can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Keller is looking to escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hataki thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Keller's head.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Kakashi Hataki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Keller.

Keller tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Keller has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Keller is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hataki knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Kakashi Hataki showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Hataki tries to land a front kick but Keller steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
It looked like Keller wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Keller closes the distance and clinches.

Keller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

As Hataki looks to move away, Keller throws a big counter combo but Hataki just gets out of the way.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Hataki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Keller dives in and grabs Hataki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hataki pushes down on Keller's head and hops out.

Hataki has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Keller uses from the top position.
