The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karhu connects with a body shot that sends Dough Nut's belly button to the back.
Dough Nut tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dough Nut takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Karhu scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Dough Nut tries to clinch but Karhu is having none of it.
We've been told by Karhu's head coaches at Malmi Aitta that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dough Nut tries to score a power double leg takedown but Karhu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dough Nut somewhat.
Karhu moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Dough Nut tries to close the distance and clinch up but Karhu swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dough Nut fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

enabling Karhu to counter with a crisp jab.
Jesse Karhu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jammy Dough Nut.

Dough Nut looks up at the clock. Bad move! Karhu lands a right hand from hell, dropping Dough Nut. Karhu pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
