PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between He Man (ranked 6008 p4p, 515 weight class) and Neil Feels (ranked 5243 p4p, 475 weight class). Neil Feels told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man throws a right and a left that both miss.
Man lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Feels at a distance.
Feels misses with a takedown attempt - Man sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Man really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Feels tries to clinch but Man moves out of range.

and Man counters with a one-two to the body.
Man catches Feels with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Feels looks for a takedown but Man sprawls well.
Man misses with a series of wild punches.
Feels tries to counter with a clinch but Man shakes him off and moves away.

Man scores with a hook to the body. Feels takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

enabling Man to counter with a crisp jab.
He Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Neil Feels.
Man scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Feels has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Man finds it's way round the side to connect with Feels's head.
Man lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Feels circles away quickly and effectively.
Feels shoots in but Man avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Man is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Feels tries to clinch up.

Man slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Feels shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Man but Man pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Man is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Feels backs away from a small jab... but Man lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Feels crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Man with a spectacular finish!
