Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akira Harada (ranked 859 p4p, 108 weight class) and Stick Kingkong (ranked 3267 p4p, 349 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Akira Harada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kingkong fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Harada cracks Kingkong with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Kingkong tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Harada was well out of range. Poor timing from Kingkong.
Kingkong gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Harada ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kingkong moves away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Harada. Kingkong does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kingkong drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kingkong moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
A combination from Kingkong does no damage.
Kingkong checks a low kick from Harada.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kingkong! But no joy.
Harada scores with a nice head shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Harada fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kingkong checks it well.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kingkong feints and then cracks Harada's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Harada down.
Kingkong tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Harada is able to avoid easily.

Kingkong lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Kingkong is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Harada.

Harada throws a lazy right hand but Kingkong sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Harada avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Harada cracks a nice hook into Kingkong's ribs.
Harada lands a big right hand that sends Kingkong crashing to the mat! Harada stays standing though and waves Kingkong back to his feet!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kingkong lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Harada has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Harada and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Harada is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kingkong can do to turn this around?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kingkong gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Harada gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
