Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eduardo Eaton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricky Daniels!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Daniels shoots in and bounces Eaton off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Eaton wants to control the position but Daniels says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Daniels is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Eaton sees it coming and defends easily.
Daniels tries to pass to full mount but Eaton defends it.
Eaton wants to control but Daniels is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Daniels is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Eaton defends it well.
Eaton controlling the position well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daniels frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Daniels is looking to stand but Eaton has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Eaton wants to control but Daniels is having none of it.

Daniels is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Eaton can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Daniels avoids the attempt from Eaton to control.
Eaton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Daniels on the ground.
Daniels wants to take Eaton's back here but Eaton is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Daniels working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Eaton turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Daniels off and cradles Eaton's limp body as Daniels celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Ricky Daniels!
